Safety Data Sheet
Uses and chemical information
1. 2-Ethylhexyl Acrylate (2-EHA)
2-Ethylhexyl Acrylate Monomer offers significant advantages as an additive in copolymer-based pressure-sensitive adhesives, coatings and finishes.
2. Acetic Acid
Colorless corrosive liquid with pungent, vinegar-like odor.
3. Alkyl Resins
A widely used durable synthetic resin derived from glycerol and phthalic anhydride widely used in adhesives and paints
4. Aminoethylpiperazine (AEP)
Aminoethylpiperazine (AEP) is commonly used in the manufacture of asphalt additives, corrosion inhibitors and epoxy curing agents among other applications.
5. Butyl Acrylate
Butyl acrylate forms homopolymers and copolymers. Copolymers of butyl acrylate can be prepared with acrylic acid and its salts, amides and esters, and with methacrylates, acrylonitrile, maleic acid esters, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, and others.
6. Citric Acid
Uses: Preparation of citrates; acidulant in beverages, foods; flavoring extracts, confections, soft drinks; antioxidant, chelating agent in foods; sequestrant; dispersant; detergent builder; metal cleaner; curing accelerator; intermediate for paints.
7. Diethanolamine
Amides prepared from DEA are often also hydrophilic.
8. Diethylenetriamine (DETA)
Organic compound, colourless hygroscopic liquid is soluble in water and polar organic solvents.
9. Epoxy Resin
Epoxy Resins are thermosetting resins, which cure by internally generated heat. Epoxy systems consist of two parts, resin and hardener.
10. Ethyl Acrylate
Ethyl acrylate is a clear, colorless liquid with a pungent odor. It is readily miscible with most organic solvents. It is readily polymerized and displays a range of properties dependent upon the selection of the monomer and reaction conditions.
